CARROLL GARDENS — It's the Notorious B.I.G. meets Duke Ellington.

A string of famous artists and musicians have been featured in a graphic-art portrait series that will be displayed in Brooklyn for the first time this week.

Marcelino Gutierrez, a visual artist from Barcelona who is known as Txelo, will exhibit 13 portraits of people who inspire him at Court Tree Collective in Carroll Gardens on Friday as a part of his “Love Your Idols” series.

The series, representing a small portion of Txelo’s entire work of 117 images, includes five Catalan artists like poet Joan Brossa, musical legends like Biggie Smalls and Count Basie, and Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei.

The pop-up will also feature Spanish tapas from chef Uri Sala, who will be serving a variety of free small plates like blue cheese croquets and beef tartar.
