QUEENS — Police released new video of a suspect they said fatally stabbed a man during a fight in Corona on Aug. 3.

The suspect started fighting with Fabian Carreno, 30, at 97th Street and Northern Boulevard about 2:15 a.m., eventually pulling out a blade and slashing Carreno's face and neck, police said.

The suspect moved away for a bit, then returned to Carreno and fatally stabbed him, officials said.

Carreno, who lived in Woodside, collapsed and was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced dead, NYPD officials said.

Investigators had been combing through surveillance video taken of the scene and released a clip of the suspect Thursday morning.

In it, a short-haired man wearing a hoodie and clutching what looks like a knife backs up toward a shopfront and picks up a baseball cap before walking out of the frame.
