HARLEM — Two livery cab passengers beat up their driver in broad daylight and stole $350 before escaping, according to the NYPD.

The assault happened on Friday at 3:30 p.m. as the 44-year-old driver pulled up to 41 West 112th Street at Lenox Avenue, police said.

The passengers, who can be seen in the video smiling and laughing before the attack, with no partition separating them from the driver, jumped the victim, took his cash and ran away, police said.

The NYPD released a video of the suspects Wednesday showing one suspect between 45 and 55 years old, with a goatee, a scar on his face and tattoos on his left arm. The other suspect appears to be in his mid-50's, bald with a grey goatee.

Anyone with information about the assault and robbery should call 800-577-8477. All calls are confidential.
