Man Robs Queens Synagogue, Police Say

QUEENS — A man stole $75 from a Kew Gardens synagogue donation box last Friday, police said.

The thief snuck into Congregation Adas Yereim Synagogue at 122-31 Metropolitan Ave. at 12:25 p.m. on July 25, according to the NYPD.

He then allegedly took the money out of the box and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 185 pounds and was last seen wearing a multi-colored striped short sleeve t-shirt, beige slacks and beige shoes.
