BROOKLYN — A bearded man with tattoos snaking up his arms stole a bike from a Williamsburg apartment building on July 14, police said.

The bike thief, who's in his 20s with reddish hair, stole a 41-year-old tenant's Trek bicycle from a stairwell inside 174 North 5th St., near Driggs Avenue, about 9 p.m., police said.

Investigators released footage of the alleged thief carrying the silver bike into an elevator, while adjusting his white earphones and fastening an umbrella.

He was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and red sneakers, police said.
