Thief Swiped Wallet From Elderly Man at Duane Reade, Police Say

FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A thief swiped a wallet from a 77-year-old man's back pocket as the victim was shopping in a Duane Reade, the NYPD said.

The theft occurred in the drugstore’s 130 William St. location on July 15 at about 1:20 p.m., police said.

Police described the suspect as an 18-to-21-year-old man who was last seen wearing a black and white striped shirt, black shorts and white sneakers.
