MANHATTAN — The M line was temporarily suspended between Manhattan and Queens during the start of the Thursday evening rush hour because of a broken rail, according to the MTA

Service was stopped in both directions between 71st Ave-Forest Hills and Essex Street, the MTA said.

The E and F lines were also experiencing delays in both directions because of signal problems at Grand Avenue, according to the MTA's website.
