Teen Girl Stabbed in After-School Melee in Williamsbridge

WILLIAMSBRIDGE — A 14-year-old girl was stabbed in the stomach and back during an afternoon melee in The Bronx, police said.

The unidentified girl, who a source said had been suspended from the Richard Green School/MS 113, was seriously wounded during the fight at 3 p.m. roughly a block away from the school on 216th Street between Barnes Avenue and White Plains Road, police said.

The girl was transported to Jacobi Hospital where she is listed in serious condition, according to a fire department spokesman.

No arrests have been made, police said.
