WILLIAMSBURG — A pair of men stripped an ATM of its screen, keypad and card reader near the Williamsburg waterfront last week, police said.

The suspects ripped off the machine's front panel to get the parts about 1:44 a.m. Sunday at 110 Kent Ave., the NYPD said.

The thieves were described by police as being between 30 and 40 years old, standing 5-foot-10 to 6 feet, and weighing 180 to 200 pounds.

Police couldn't immediately say what the devices might be used for but have warned in the past of "skimming," where devices are used to take credit card information from unsuspecting people.
