SUNNYSIDE — The Sunnyside branch of the Queens Library will close this summer for renovations as a new roof is installed at the building, officials said Thursday.
The location, at 43-06 Greenpoint Ave., will close at the end of business Saturday and is expected to reopen in mid-August, according to a statement from the Queens Library.
The Mobile Library will offer limited service during the temporary closure, and will be available on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The next closest Queens Library branches are located in Woodside at 54-22 Skillman Ave., Court Square at 25-01 Jackson Ave. or Long Island City at 37-44 21 St.
