QUEENS — Grammy Award-winning rappers Drake and Lil Wayne are scheduled to perform at Forest Hills Stadium this summer, as part of their co-headlining "Drake vs Lil Wayne' tour.

The tour begins on Aug. 8 and ends on Sept. 27, making stops in 31 cities across the country, including New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Tickets for the Forest Hills concert, which will kick off at 7 p.m. on Aug. 19, will cost between $69 and $150, according to Ticketfly.com.

The 2014 concert season in Forest Hills will begin next Sat., June 21, with a sold-out performance by Zac Brown Band, the organizers said.

Modest Mouse and Brand New are scheduled to perform in Forest Hills on Aug. 9.

Organizers are planning several more concerts this season, but details have not yet been finalized.

The stadium, which opened in 1923, used to host the U.S. Open, before it moved to the National Tennis Center in Flushing in 1977. It also held numerous concerts, including performances by The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.

Most concerts stopped by the late 1980s, after opposition from local residents.

Last year, the stadium organized its first concert in 15 years with a performance by Mumford & Sons.

The venue has since undergone a renovation, including the installation of seats in the upper portion of the stadium, widened aisles and handrails.

Tickets to all 2014 Forest Hills Stadium events will be available at ticketfly.com.
