QUEENS — A man sexually assaulted a woman inside her Forest Hills apartment building Tuesday night, police said.

The suspect, whom police released a sketch of, followed a 47-year-old woman into her building near Queens Boulevard and 76th Road about 7 p.m., grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground, the NYPD said.

After sexually assaulting her, the suspect fled the scene, police said.

The woman, whose name was not released, was treated at Elmhurst Hospital for minor injuries to her right arm and knee, the NYPD said.

The suspect was wearing a Yankees baseball cap, a T-shirt and shorts at the time of the attack, according to surveillance photos released by police.
