BROOKLYN — A man died after being shot multiple times during an argument outside a Crown Heights apartment building Thursday evening, the NYPD said.

The 37-year-old victim, whose name was not immediately released, was found unconscious outside 268 Albany Ave., near St. John's Place, about 7:30 p.m. by police responding to a 911 call, the NYPD said.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

The shooter had been arguing with the victim and fled after opening fire, an NYPD spokesman said.

No one was immediately arrested in connection to the shooting and police said their investigation is ongoing.
