Free Indie Music Festival Returns to Seaport This Summer

SOUTH STREET SEAPORT — Free music is on the way back to the Seaport.

The Seaport Music Festival’s indie lineup will return with weekly Friday night shows, running from July 11 to Aug. 29.

The festival, in its 13th year, kicks off with post-punk band Portomartyr and indie pop group Alvvays.

Other groups slated to play include Calvin Love, Torres, The Casket Girls and New York-based punk group Big Ups.

The bands, which are set to play on Fulton Street between Water and Front streets, will start playing at 7 p.m.
