MORRISANIA — A 19-year-old Connecticut man was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting and robbing a 61-year-old woman in The Bronx last Friday morning, police said.

Moises Granados of New Haven was arrested in connection with the April 25 incident and charged with robbery, grand larceny and criminal sex act, police said.

In the incident, a man described as having long dark hair in a ponytail followed the victim into a residential building near Walton Avenue and East 168th Street at 6:30 a.m., police said.

He then sexually assaulted her and took her personal items.

Granados had a prior arrest for criminal trespass and criminal possession of marijuana in December of last year, according to police.

The case was set to be dismissed if Granados avoided arrest until June 27, according to the DA's office.
