The suspect entered a Duane Reade at West 59th Street and Amsterdam Avenue on April 23 at 11 p.m. with a black suitcase, which he used to stash the locks, a smaller suitcase and a cologne bottle, police said.

The man grabbed 72 locks total, including 64 combination locks and eight Master key-operated padlocks, as well the other items before leaving the store, police said.

The items were worth a total of $1,040, police said. The store's manager declined to comment.
