GOWANUS — A man's body was found floating in the Gowanus Canal on Monday afternoon, the FDNY and NYPD said.
Rescue workers pulled the body from the water under the Union Street Bridge, between Nevins and Bond streets, and pronounced the man dead just after 3 p.m., police said.
Police and Fire Department officials were investigating the incident.
