THE BRONX — The Bronx Zoo will be getting its own Jurassic Park again in April.

Dinosaur Safari: Mysteries Revealed will open at the zoo on April 12. The narrated ride will feature more than 30 animatronic dinosaurs that move, snarl and roar, spread across two acres, according to the Wildlife Conservation Society.

The dinosaurs, which last roamed the zoo in spring and summer 2013, will include a 40-foot long Tyrannosaurus rex, brachiosaurus and nine new species including the deinonychus, prodohadros, stegosaurus, and edmontonia.

After the ride, children will be able to dig through a field site for fossils and take a photo with a T-rex.

The exhibition will run from April 12 through Nov. 2 and will be included in the Total Experience Ticket.

The Bronx Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and until 5:30 p.m. on weekends from April through October.

Zoo goers can visit www.bronxzoo.com/dino for schedules and event details.
