QUEENS — An elderly woman died and two other people were injured in a Ridgewood house fire Monday morning, officials said.

Flames erupted on the first floor of a Himrod Street home, near Woodward Avenue, about 10:30 a.m. and was brought under control about half an hour later, according to the FDNY.

Two other people were taken to the same hospital one of whom was seriously hurt, but in stable condition and another who suffered minor injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
