JACKSON HEIGHTS — A tree might grow in Brooklyn but you can get one for free in Queens.

The Jackson Heights Beautification Group has teamed up with the New York Restoration Project to hand out dozens of free trees this Saturday.

Trees will be handed out from 11 a.m until noon on 35th Avenue and 69th Street in Jackson Heights.

Registrants can sign up online and select from a variety of four trees — a Carolina Silverbell, Japanese Tree Lilac, a Cornelian Cherry Dogwood and Yellowwood trees.

Although pickup is in the neighborhood, the trees can be placed on properties all across the five boroughs, from private homes to co-ops to community centers.

The New York Restoration Project has given out thousands of trees through the city's Million Trees Iniative.
