GREENWICH VILLAGE — Funeral services have been planned for Avonte Oquendo, the autistic 14-year-old who went missing from his Queens school in October.

A private memorial for family members will be held Saturday morning at Greenwich Village Funeral Home in Manhattan beginning at 9 a.m. It will be followed by a public Mass at St. Joseph's Church at 371 Sixth Ave. starting at 11 a.m.

Avonte's remains were claimed on Thursday, according to the medical examiner's office.

Remains discovered last week on a beach in Queens were positively identified Tuesday as those of the missing teenager through DNA testing, ending a months-long search for the boy.

Avonte had been missing since walking out of his Long Island City high school on Oct. 4.

His mother filed a court action on Wednesday seeking access to NYPD records relating to the day he disappeared.
