UPPER EAST SIDE — A runaway driver turned a Manhattan realtor's office into a real fixer-upper Monday afternoon when he drove his car through the lobby.

The silver four-door sedan jumped the curb at 1504 Second Ave., near East 78th Street about 2:30 p.m, fire officials said.

"Our office's storefront and lobby have been destroyed," Noah Freedman, co-founder of BOND New York, said after the accident. "We are extremely thankful and relieved that no one — including the driver — was injured."

The driver and the passenger were both taken to New York Hospital with minor injuries.

It is unclear how the accident happened.

"Like all New Yorkers, we have endured far worse and look forward to rebuilding our office better than it was before," Freedman said.
