Man Found Stabbed to Death in Bed-Stuy, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man was found stabbed to death in Bed-Stuy early Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.

Police said they received a call around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning about man stabbed at the corner of Lewis Avenue and Hart Street.

Officers arrived on scene to find Bed-Stuy resident Marcus Cherry, 37, laying unconscious with two stab wounds, just a few blocks from his home on Marcus Garvey Boulevard, police said.

Cherry was rushed to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the NYPD.
