Clubgoer Robbed by Man He Brought Home on New Year's Eve, Police Say

UPPER WEST SIDE — An Upper West Side resident had a rought start to 2014 when a man he met at a club on New Year's Eve stole cash and a computer from his home, police said. 

The 52-year-old victim returned to his apartment on West 66th Street on New Year's Eve with a man he had met at a nightclub and invited him to stay the night, according to a police report.

When the resident awoke at 5:30 a.m., he saw that the male guest, who he'd met for the first time the previous evening, had bolted, taking with him $600 in cash and his laptop, police said.
