MASPETH — It may be hard to believe after the snowstorm and below-freezing temperatures that have been walloping the city, but in Maspeth, summer's already here.

O'Neill's in Maspeth is hosting a "halfway to summer" party on Saturday, Jan. 4, with a portion of the night's proceeds going towards Hurricane Sandy relief.

Surf rock band Strange But Surf will play beach tunes, and Corona will be raffling off swag that will have you looking forward to the summer.

And even better, all Corona beers will be only $3.

The bar will also feature a specialty cocktail called "The Rock Lobster."

Proceeds from the sale of the drink will go to Friends of Rockaway, a nonprofit dedicated to rebuilding in Rockaway.

The "Halfway to Summer" party kicks off at 9:30 pm at O'Neill's, 64-21 53rd Drive, Maspeth. The party goes all night.
