INWOOD — A 30-year-old man died after he collapsed outside of a club in Manhattan and police are investigating what may have led to his mysterious death, the NYPD said.

Harminder Singh, who lived in Glen Oaks, Queens, was at a birthday party just moments before he was found lying in front of Tette Nightclub at 4:08 a.m., police said

Singh had collapsed earlier inside the 154 Post Ave. nightclub, and had stepped outside apparently to get air when he collapsed again, according to police.

No physical fight took place prior to his collapse, and police did not suspect any trauma was related to the death, the NYPD said.

A spokesperson who represents Dario Oleaga, the owner of Tette who recently opened Vacca Grill and Lounge in the neighborhood, did not respond immediately to inquiries on Saturday.

Singh was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital but declared dead by the time he arrived, police said.

An investigation was ongoing, and the Medical Examiner was looking into the cause of death, police said.
