GRAMERCY — Gourmet grocery chain Gracefully is opening a new location at 23rd Street and First Avenue, a store manager said.

The store is expected to open at 400 E. 23rd St. sometime in 2014, according to a store manager at Gracefully's Upper West Side location.

The new grocery is still under construction but recently posted signs in the windows of the new store, first spotted by the blog pcvstBee.

“We are just starting,” said the manager, who declined to give his name. “So we have no idea right now [on an opening date].”

Shoppers can expect to see the same merchandise at the new 4,500-square-foot location, but it won’t have seating as the Stuyvesant Town outpost does, the manager said.

“It’s the same merchandise, but really no place for sitting,” the manager said.

Along with organic items, produce and other groceries, the store also offers specialty sandwiches like the Badda Bing, made with roast beef, onion, melted cheddar and hot pepper, according to menupages.com.

Other offerings include salads, wraps, burgers, panini and coffee.

Gracefully Gourmet Market has three other locations: in Stuy Town at 320 First Ave., in the East Village at 28 Avenue A and on the Upper West Side at 101 West End Ave.
