MANHATTAN — A well-dressed man and woman went shopping at CVS using stolen credit cards that had been swiped from a West Village bar on Dec. 5, police said.

Their victim, a woman whose identity was not released, was inside the Village Tavern, 46 Bedford St., when she realized she was missing her wallet containing credit cards, cash and a New Hampshire driver's license, an NYPD spokesman said.

Sometime later, a man and woman, believed to be in their 50s, were seen using the stolen cards in a CVS at 360 Sixth Ave., near Washington Place, police said.

Surveillance photos released by police show the woman clutching a purse, wearing a broad black hat and what appeared to be a black fur coat.

Her companion was bald and wearing a black coat with a green shirt, photos show.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
