CYPRESS HILLS — A 22-year-old man was struck and killed by a car early Saturday in Brooklyn, and police are hunting for the driver of the vehicle that allegedly took off.
Elvis Batista-Francisco, of Cypress Hills, was driving a Shenk moped westbound on Arlington Avenue at around 2:43 a.m. when he was hit by a dark blue Nissan sedan headed south on Highland Place, police said.
Rescuers arriving on the scene declared Batista-Francisco dead. Police said an investigation was ongoing.
