MIDTOWN — How sweet it is.

Sugary versions of city sights went on display at Le Parker Meridien hotel in Midtown, which unveiled its fourth annual "Gingerbread Extravaganza" last week.

Themed "Quintessential New York," the display in the hotel's mirrored lobby features sugar-frosted renditions of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Gracie Mansion, the LOVE sculpture and the 42nd Street and a subway station, complete with candy rats scurrying beneath the platform.

Renditions of the UN Building and Coney Island were also slated to be installed later this week.

All were made by local bakeries and restaurants, including Butterfly Bake Shop, Cupcake Cafe and Baked Ideas.

Visitors can vote for their favorites by buying tickets for $1 each, with all proceeds going toward City Harvest, which helps feed hungry New Yorkers. One ticket will be selected at random to win a five-night stay at the Parker Palm Springs.

The display will be up through Monday, Jan. 6.
