NORWOOD — Police are widening their search for information on the identity of a man found on the platform of a Bronx subway station, who remains unconscious at a hospital, police said.

The victim was found unresponsive on the platform of a 205th Street-Norwood subway station on October 29, 2013, and rushed to Jacobi Hospital at around 7:52 p.m., police said. 

Since he was found nearly three weeks ago, the man has not risen from his deep state of unconsciousness, and officials have not been able to identify him to contact family, police said.

Anyone with information in regards to this unidentified person is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477).
