WILLIAMSBURG — The neighborhood's notoriously rising rents just hit a new high.

Average rents leapt more than 11 percent for one-bedroom apartments in Williamsburg last month to $3,459, a new report shows. The mean rent shot to $3,499, according to the report by MNS Real Estate.

The average rent for studios also rose 5.5 percent to $2,850 and two-bedrooms increased 3.6 percent to $4,143, the report shows of the price jump from September to October.

The overall increase of rents in Williamsburg exceeded those in every other Brooklyn neighborhood, the report shows.

Last year, Williamsburg's mean rents were $2,701 for a studio, $3,133 for a one-bedroom and $4,002 for a two-bedroom — prices already so steep that they were pushing some residents back to Manhattan for better deals.
