RED HOOK — A man was shot in the stomach and buttocks in Red Hook last week, according to police.
The 48-year-old victim was attacked in front of 94 Center Mall Oct. 29 where he was shot twice about 12:30 a.m., police said.
He was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center and is likely to survive, police said.
The shooter Rodney Veeney, 27, was arrested on Nov. 4 and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
