Crash on Cross Bronx Expressway Leaves 5 Hurt

THE BRONX — A person was critically hurt in a crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway Monday night that also injured four other people, the FDNY said.

The crash happened near Jerome Avenue about 9:45 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

Along with the one critically injured person, two others were hospitalized in serious but stable condition, while two more suffered minor injuries, fire said.

All were taken to Lincoln or St. Barnabas Hospital, the  FDNY spokesman said.
