CORONA — A LeFrak City man with a long rap sheet was arrested after fatally shooting his neighbor, a father of three girls, in a dispute over a woman Sunday, police and relatives said.

Anton Harden, 34, was at his apartment building in the complex, 96-04 57th St., about 3 a.m. when an argument with a neighbor escalated, the NYPD said.

Harden allegedly whipped out a gun and fired at the 27-year-old victim Cory Dixon, hitting him in the torso. He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died, police said.

The victim's mother, Sharon Dixon, said her son was one of four kids and had three daughters of his own.

"He leaves behind a host of people who love him," the grieving mother said in her son's apartment Tuesday.

A piece of paper on the door thanked those who expressed their condolences and offered space for others to write notes.

Harden was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.

He's been arrested about a dozen times for crimes including assault, reckless endangerment and most recently in 2012 for driving without a license, a police spokesman said.
