PARK SLOPE — Prospect Park will be closed to the public for six hours Friday so President Barack Obama can visit a nearby school.

The 538-acre park will be closed from noon to 6 p.m. "due to security associated with the president's visit," according to an announcement on the park's website.

Military helicopters landed in Prospect Park as part of a drill on Tuesday.

Obama is set to visit Crown Heights' Pathways in Technology Early College High School on Albany Avenue and Dean Street. The president highlighted the school in his January State of the Union address.
