LONG ISLAND CITY — Funny ladies will get all the focus at The Laughing Devil in Queens this week, which is gearing up for its second annual women-only comedy fest.

The She-Devil Comedy Festival will feature nearly 100 comediennes from across the country who will take the stage at the Long Island City club and four other venues from Wednesday through Sunday.

The comics auditioned for the festival through video submissions, and will compete against one another in four rounds of stand-up showdown.

The winner will come away with a $2,000 prize, plus the chance to score gigs and be seen by industry insiders, according to Laughing Devil owner Steve Hofstetter.

"There will be plenty of fans in the audience, [but] there will also be a lot of decision-makers," he said.

The festival will also feature a panel discussion about women in comedy and a guest headlining set from Rain Pryor, daughter of legendary comedian Richard Pryor.

The She-Devil Comedy Festival will run Oct. 23 to 27. For tickets and a schedule of events, click here.
