MELROSE — Two men were shot, one fatally, in The Bronx in a night of gunplay across the city Friday, according to police
Tyrek Singleton, 28, of E. 152nd Street, was shot in the torso in the courtyard of the John Adams Houses at 680 Tinton Ave. about 6 p.m, police said. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, but doctors could not save him.
A 26-year-old man, who police did not identify, was struck by a bullet in the leg during the gunplay, police said. He was also taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Two other men were killed in shootings in Brooklyn Friday night and Saturday morning, according to authorities.
Police have not arrested anyone for the Melrose shooting and their investigation continues.
