Police Hunt for Man Who Swiped Cash, iPad From Greenpoint Diner

GREENPOINT — A man made off with $300 and an iPad after breaking into a diner back in September, police said.

The suspect, who broke into Jimmy's Diner on September 24, got in through the basement about 5:20 a.m., police said.

Police are hunting for the man, who was described as in his 30s, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, and released photos of the suspect they say was involved in the break-in at 92 Cayler St. 

He was last seen sporting a beard and wearing green baseball hat, dark sweatshirt, jeans and tan work boots at the time of the incident, police said.
