MIDTOWN — Even the POTUS loves the 'fro.

President Barack Obama expressed awe for Bill de Blasio's son Dante's buzzworthy hairstyle, saying it reminded him of his own Afro from earlier days.

Speaking at a Midtown fundraiser on Wednesday following a visit to the UN General Assembly, Obama said 15-year-old Dante de Blasio did a better job of representing the style than he did.

“Dante has the same hairdo as I had in 1978,” Obama told guests at the Tuesday night fundraiser, according to the New York Times.

“Although I have to confess my Afro was never that good. It was a little imbalanced.”

President Obama endorsed de Blasio for mayor last week.

Dante and his notable hairdo were made famous in an ad for his father’s campaign, and it is credited with playing a big role in the primary election.
