MIDTOWN — They're stirring up a sweet deal.

Asian-inspired "Seattle-style street-eats" chain Glaze Teriyaki Grill is offering $1 teriyaki bowls Thursday to celebrate the opening of its new Midtown location at 60 W. 56th St.

From 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., diners can choose between chicken, steak, salmon, pork loin, wok vegetables or soy-marinated tofu, all topped with teriyaki sauce, for only a buck. Sides like crispy gyoza dumplings, charred pork rib, and cold soba-noodle salad will also be available.

"The hustle and bustle of Midtown West made the busy neighborhood an ideal location," Glaze said of its new outpost in a statement.

Glaze, which was founded in New York City, first opened in Midtown East in the fall of 2010. Two more locations opened in Union Square in 2012 and in San Francisco this spring.

The fast-food chain's expansion into Midtown was first reported by MidtownLunch.com.
