Gun-Wielding Man Robs Staten Island Gas Station, Cops Say

MARINERS HARBOR — Police are looking for the man they said robbed a Staten Island gas station at gunpoint last month.

The suspect walked into the Hess gas station, at 2112 Forest Ave., on Aug. 30 at 8:10 a.m., police said.

He then displayed a handgun to the gas station attendant and demanded money, cops said.

He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the phrase, "Im turnt up!(sic)" on the front. The phrase means someone who is extremely drunk or high, according to Urban Dictionary.
