Gun-Wielding Robbers Take Cash and Cigarettes from Queens Bodega, Cops Say

HOLLIS — Two men robbed a Hollis, Queens bodega at gunpoint earlier this month, stealing cigarettes and cash, police said.

The heist happened on Aug. 16 about 11:10 p.m. at the Family Deli and Grill at 198-37 Jamaica Ave., according to the NYPD. One of the men allegedly pointed a gun at a worker and demanded cash while his partner took two cartons of cigarettes.

No one was injured, police said.

The suspect carrying the gun had a red bandana covering his face, police said, and his accomplice was wearing a black ski mask and carrying a backpack.
