COBBLE HILL — A $3.25 million “fixer-upper” townhouse was reportedly purchased by Will Frears, whose father, Stephen Frears, is the Oscar-nominated director of “The Queen,” “High Fidelity” and “Dangerous Liaisons.”

The house at 289 Clinton St. was purchased by the younger Frears and his wife Amy Larocca, a fashion director at New York Magazine.

The 4,200 square-foot Clinton Street home is spread over five stories with a mansard roof, The New York Observer reported.

The home was originally listed at $3.5 million and has five to six bedrooms, two parlors, two bathrooms, a garden and seven fireplaces, according to StreetEasy.

The Observer called the house a “fixer-upper” for its bedroom sizes — three of which measure 6 feet by 10 feet — and said it had “Pepto-Bismol-themed” paint job in the living rooms.
