Fire Breaks Out in Concourse Village Apartment, FDNY Says

NEW YORK CITY — A fire scorched a Concourse Village apartment Friday morning, the FDNY said.

The blaze erupted inside a fifth floor apartment within 800 Concourse Village West, near East 158th Street, at 12:44 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

The fire was brought under control about 15 minutes later, the spokesman said.

No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to the one apartment, he added.
