NEW YORK CITY — A 14-year-old boy has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl inside a Jamaica McDonald's play area earlier this week, cops said early Thursday.
The young victim was inside the tubing of the large kids play pen at McDonald's 181-25 Hillside Ave. location when the teen sexually assaulted her, according to the NYPD.
Someone recognized the suspect from surveillance video released Wednesday and notified investigators who collared the 14 year old, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Neither the victim nor the suspect were publicly identified.
Cops said the suspect is expected to be charged with performing a criminal sexual act, though the district attorney may choose to add more charges.
