Man and Woman Used Stolen Credit Card in East Village Bodega, Police Say

EAST VILLAGE — Police were looking for two suspects Thursday accused of making a purchase with a stolen credit card.

The suspects, a man and a woman, used the credit card July 14 about 5:30 a.m. in an East Village bodega, police said. The card had previously been reported stolen in the 5th Precinct, which covers Chinatown, Little Italy and parts of SoHo, police said.

The male suspect was last seen wearing a gray baseball cap, a black T-shirt with a marijuana leaf on the front and camouflage pants, police said. The female suspect wore a white or gray shirt and blue jeans, police said.
