NEW YORK CITY — A pedestrian was seriously hurt when a vehicle struck him in Hell's Kitchen during Friday morning's rush-hour commute, the FDNY said.
The man, who's believed to be in his 50s or 60s, was struck near Ninth Avenue and West 43rd Street about 7:40 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.
The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in serious, but stable condition, he added.
It was unclear if the vehicle remained at the scene.
