Cops Hunt Man Accused of Using Stolen Credit Card at SI Liquor Store

NEW YORK CITY — A man bought liquor with a credit card stolen from the back of a car parked on Staten Island, police said.

The man was spotted at a Liquor City USA, 965 Richmond Ave., about 12:15 p.m. on July 13 using a credit card that had been stolen the day before, according to the NYPD.

A thief had lifted a backpack from someone's car which contained the credit card along with a GPS device and camera, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
