Armed Robber Hit Jackson Heights Shop, Cops Say

QUEENS — Police are looking for a suspect in an early-morning armed robbery earlier this month at a store in Jackson Heights.

Cops said the suspect entered Asia Bazaar on 37th Avenue, between 71st and 72nd streets, about 2:30 a.m. on July 7.

He sprayed the clerk with an irritant and took an unknown amount of cash from the register, police said. He then fled on foot.

Police said the suspect is a bald man in his 30s with a beard.
